QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) – ERP Systems

About the role

iGATE Technologies is looking for a detail‑oriented QA Engineer with strong manual and automation testing experience, focused on ERP applications. You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise solutions across web, API, and ERP modules.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design detailed test cases for functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage.
• Perform end‑to‑end testing of ERP modules (Finance, HR, Procurement, Inventory, Sales) and validate workflows, data integrity, and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and product owners during sprint planning and requirement analysis.
• Document defects, track them in JIRA or Azure DevOps, and provide clear test reports and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3‑5 years of QA experience covering both manual and automation testing.
• Proven experience testing ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (any)
• Postman, Rest Assured for API testing
• JIRA, Azure DevOps for test case management and defect tracking
• Basic SQL for database validation
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner (optional)
