QA Technologist – Dairy & Food Ingredients

About the role

Vitalis Ingredients is looking for a motivated QA Technologist to ensure the safety and quality of its dairy, powder and ingredient portfolio. You will work in a dynamic factory and laboratory environment, supporting food‑safety systems and product release processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine quality tests on incoming milk, cream, whey, powders, cheese, butter, water and finished goods.
• Conduct basic laboratory analyses such as pH, acidity, moisture, fat, protein/SNF, temperature, conductivity and microbiological sampling.
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation, CIP effectiveness and GMP compliance in production areas.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records, including batch records, inspection reports, calibration logs and non‑conformance documentation.
• Support HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP and Halal system implementation and upkeep.
• Carry out environmental monitoring, raw material and packaging inspections, and assist with root‑cause investigations.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure process parameters are met and support supplier evaluation and internal audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related field.
• Hands‑on experience in dairy or food‑ingredients quality assurance, including laboratory and factory work.
• Familiarity with food‑safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000) and basic documentation practices.
• Strong attention to detail, good observation skills and ability to work safely in a lab/production setting.
