QA/QC Engineer - Civil

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer specialized in civil works to ensure that tank farm facilities and related infrastructure meet all applicable standards, specifications and regulations. Reporting to the Operations Manager/Team Leader, the engineer will lead inspections, supervise testing and support the delivery of high‑quality construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of equipment, products, and installations against specifications, drawings and ITPs.
• Witness and supervise testing of concrete, steel, aggregates, asphalt, soil and other materials.
• Verify formwork, reinforcement placement, concrete curing, compaction and other field activities.
• Check material certifications and mill test reports.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue corrective action requests and follow up on resolutions.
• Document inspections, test results, photographs and maintain detailed logs.
• Prepare daily/weekly quality reports for project management and coordinate with clients.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in inspection and QA/QC for civil infrastructure.
• Familiarity with international standards and codes (ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, etc.).
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience developing and applying Quality Assurance Plans.
