Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a QA Engineer to manually test productivity desktop applications built on .NET for both Windows and macOS. The role involves close collaboration with product and engineering teams to deliver a high‑quality AI‑powered desktop experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual functional testing of desktop applications on Windows 10/11 and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon).
• Design and author structured test cases from specifications, UI walkthroughs, and exploratory testing.
• Maintain test cases in CSV/spreadsheet format with clear steps, expected outcomes, and pass/fail criteria.
• Review and refine AI‑generated test plans, removing redundancies and adding edge cases.
• Identify, document, and report bugs with reproducible steps, severity, screenshots, and logs.
• Test complex UI flows, including multi‑window interfaces, drag‑and‑drop, system tray interactions, modal dialogs, and installer processes.
• Validate platform‑specific behaviors such as Windows Shell extensions, registry actions, NSIS installers, macOS app bundles, and file associations.
• Test integrations with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Outlook.
• Collaborate via Microsoft Teams and GitLab for issue tracking and communication.

Required profile

• 3+ years of manual functional testing experience on desktop applications.
• Hands‑on experience testing both Windows and macOS environments.
• Strong ability to design test cases and produce clear, reproducible bug reports.
• Familiarity with complex desktop UI patterns and system‑level components.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
