Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA department to ensure that all products and packaging meet Coca‑Cola’s internal standards as well as provincial EPA and Food Authority regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining product fitness, legal compliance, and customer satisfaction across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product and package quality by setting and monitoring standards, examining raw samples, and directing testing during processing.
• Train QA staff, implement corrective‑preventive actions, and keep records of non‑conformities.
• Monitor syrup, sugar and concentrate efficiencies, oversee cleaning of equipment, and ensure calibrated devices operate correctly.
• Implement Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, PAS 220), GMP, GLP, and sustainability KPIs.
• Lead compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, KORE Q‑1, KORE E‑1 audits and ensure 100% backward traceability.
• Handle consumer complaints proactively and support other departments in achieving their targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Experience in managing QA/food‑safety functions within a beverage or manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• HACCP and PAS 220 implementation.
• GMP, GLP, and ISO 9001/ISO 14001 compliance.
• FSSC 22000 and KORE audit preparation.
• Calibration of measurement devices and control of cooling/level systems.
