Quality Assurance Manager – Textile Industry

About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA/QC function for a textile manufacturing operation, ensuring that products and processes meet the highest quality and safety standards. This position combines strategic oversight of quality systems with hands‑on inspection and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ISO 9001‑based quality audits across all production stages to verify compliance.
• Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance procedures, manuals and preventive‑action plans before production begins.
• Lead a team of three quality professionals, providing guidance on inspection protocols and best practices.
• Perform detailed inspections and testing of raw materials, equipment and finished goods, documenting findings and non‑conformities.
• Investigate root causes of quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with relevant departments.
• Monitor adherence to industry standards, safety regulations and internal policies.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects such as Lean Six Sigma to boost efficiency and product quality.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Excel to track quality metrics, analyse trends and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the textile sector.
• Proven ability to lead a small quality team and manage audit programmes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on rapid issue resolution.
• Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
