Quality Control Manager – Sewing Operations

About the role

The Quality Control Manager – Sewing Operations leads quality assurance for the sewing department at Crescent Bahuman Limited. Reporting to senior management, you will develop and execute a Quality Management Plan that ensures product standards meet both company and industry benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management Plan for sewing processes.
• Coordinate with Production, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning & Control, and external QA teams to align standards and resolve issues.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of five AQC members, monitoring performance against KPIs.
• Establish and monitor process‑control checkpoints within sewing operations to detect defects early.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for quality deviations and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform regular internal and external quality audits and report findings to senior management.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase efficiency.
• Organise training sessions for QA and production staff to raise quality awareness.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of experience in quality control within textile or garment manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
