Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Management

About the role

Al Rehmat Builders is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join its Multan team. The role focuses on cost control, measurement and commercial administration across civil and building projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs, bills of quantities, cost estimates, rate analyses and tender documents.
• Review drawings, specifications and contracts to identify quantities, pricing considerations and commercial risks.
• Measure completed work on site and compile interim payment applications, subcontractor valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, material usage and budget performance while maintaining commercial records.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to support procurement decisions.
• Assist with contract administration, change orders, claims documentation and commercial reporting.
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, construction measurement, BOQ preparation and cost estimation.
• Experience interpreting civil, structural, architectural and MEP drawings and specifications.
• Ability to prepare payment certificates, subcontractor bills, variations, claims and final accounts.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate commercial documentation and meeting deadlines.
