Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our project teams delivering medium‑ to large‑scale civil infrastructure projects such as roads, water supply, power, solar and stadiums. The role is based on‑site in Islamabad and focuses on cost control, contract administration and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), take‑offs and material estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Measure quantities on‑site and from design documents to support tendering and variation assessments.
• Develop cost estimates, budget reconciliations and cash‑flow projections for project milestones.
• Assess contractor claims, variations, change orders and extensions of time, providing substantiated recommendations.
• Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions and procurement procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement to monitor costs, reduce waste and identify value‑engineering opportunities.
• Maintain accurate, auditable records and financial reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil/infrastructure quantity surveying (roads, water, power).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certification such as PQS or local equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience preparing BOQs, take‑offs and detailed cost estimates.
• Knowledge of standard measurement methods (e.g., SMM or locally accepted standards).
• Experience with contract administration, valuation of variations and preparation of interim/final accounts.
