Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Namal Education Foundation is hiring a Quantity Surveyor in Lahore through its client. The role takes ownership of cost management, procurement oversight and contract administration across active construction projects, and calls for strong analytical ability, site-level engagement and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at once.

Key responsibilities

• Review construction plans and prepare detailed quantity requirements to support accurate project costing.
• Scrutinize maintenance and material costs and negotiate with contractors to secure optimal commercial outcomes.
• Liaise with site managers, client contractors and subcontractors to coordinate project activities.
• Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments and related project documentation.
• Advise managers and clients on cost-saving improvements and emerging construction strategies.
• Monitor material usage and manage procurement to keep the supply chain running on site.
• Document design changes, assess their cost implications and update project budgets promptly.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Travel regularly between the head office and project sites in Mianwali, following confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum DEA in Civil Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Proven ability to manage several concurrent projects and deliver under pressure.
• Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working in field environments and adapting to varying site conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
