Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

About the role

The Engineering department is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor specialized in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. You will be responsible for accurate cost estimation, bid preparation, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bids and proposals by estimating quantities from drawings and acquiring rates in line with specifications.
• Submit competitive bids and proposals within required timelines.
• Survey construction sites to measure executed work, prepare invoices/bills, and defend them before clients, consultants, or auditors.
• Develop Bills of Quantities and rate analyses for additional items on ongoing projects.
• Review and verify subcontractor bills for accuracy.
• Support engineers with documentation, cost estimation, and related technical data.

Required profile

• DAE in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for MEP projects.
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and a methodical work approach.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn and operate specialist quantity surveying software.
