R&D & Prototyping Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an R&D & Prototyping Specialist to turn innovative ideas into manufacturable products at our 3D Cube Design Studio in Rawalpindi. The role is hands‑on, involving building, testing, troubleshooting and improving physical prototypes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and assemble mechanical and electromechanical prototypes.
• Operate 3D printers and develop prototype parts.
• Conduct functional testing, measurements and validation.
• Perform reverse engineering of components and products.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and prototype issues.
• Create or modify basic CAD models and drawings.
• Use workshop and machine‑shop tools and equipment.
• Assist with basic electronics prototyping and testing.
• Document experiments, test results, modifications and progress.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, electronics and prototyping teams.

Required profile

• Open to candidates with diplomas, DAE, B.Tech or engineering degrees.
• Relevant technical or workshop experience is valued over formal qualifications.
• Practical hands‑on capability and a passion for building, testing and improving products.
