Reconciliation Officer

About the role

The Reconciliation Officer will deliver accurate, day‑to‑day reconciliation services for Mashreq Bank Pakistan, ensuring all accounts are processed within established timelines and standards. The role involves handling SWIFT, Sundry Accounts and 1‑LINK transactions, maintaining reports, and continuously updating knowledge through training.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all assigned accounts each day before cut‑off times.
• Achieve productivity targets set with the manager during fortnightly reviews.
• Confirm completion of daily tasks to the Team Lead and maintain a 100% accuracy rate.
• Investigate and resolve entries before routing them to relevant units.
• Document interactions, issues, and resolutions in the support ticketing system.
• Propose automation ideas and assist in testing and implementation.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1‑3 years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably in a centralized reconciliation unit.
• Ability to uphold organizational obligations related to supervision and non‑compliance reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with presentation skills.
