About the role

The Regional Search Operations Associate will own and optimise the search experience for Daraz Pakistan, driving key performance metrics such as penetration, click‑through and conversion rates. You will work closely with commercial teams to translate market insights into actionable search improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own search performance metrics for Daraz Pakistan, including penetration, CTR, conversion, and efficiency.
• Resolve search‑related issues through manual query rewrites, category prediction adjustments, and algorithm tweaks.
• Conduct weekly reviews with the local commercial team to spot trends, close assortment gaps, and inform commercial decisions.
• Combine historical data, market trends, macro‑economic signals, and social media buzz to uncover growth opportunities and drive incremental sales.
• Analyse search‑boosting events and ad‑hoc asset configurations to maintain platform efficiency.
• Leverage insights from top‑search and zero‑result keywords to generate additional orders.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical role that relies on data‑driven decision making.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Urdu.
• Prior experience in an e‑commerce environment is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, capable of turning raw data into sophisticated reports and dynamic dashboards.
