Registered Nurse – IV Therapy Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Registered Nurse with deep expertise in intravenous (IV) therapy to join an aesthetic clinic within a hospital environment in Karachi. The role involves delivering safe, high‑quality patient care, administering complex IV treatments, and upholding clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Administer IV therapies, medications, blood products and fluids accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patients receiving IV treatments, manage peripheral and central lines, and resolve infusion‑related issues.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain precise documentation in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on post‑treatment care and medication regimens.

Required profile

• Active, valid nursing license/registration with the national or regional nursing council.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting (medical‑surgical, ICU, emergency or inpatient units).
• Proven hands‑on proficiency in IV therapy insertion, maintenance and management.
• Strong communication, critical‑thinking and patient‑advocacy skills.
