Registered Nurse

About the role

The Registered Nurse will join ChildLife Foundation’s emergency department in Multan, delivering evidence‑based nursing care to children in critical need. Working on‑site full‑time, the RN supports 24/7 pediatric emergency services and collaborates closely with physicians and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency setting, including triage and assessment.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with life‑saving procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Educate families and caregivers on treatment plans, follow‑up care, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection‑prevention programs.
• Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous coverage.

Required profile

• Valid Registered Nurse license and recognized nursing qualification (Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing).
• Experience in pediatric, emergency, or critical care nursing, preferably in high‑volume hospital settings.
• Strong clinical judgment, ability to stay calm under pressure, and commitment to ethical, compassionate care.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, and engage in ongoing training.
