Remote Accountant – Banking & Taxation

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Remote Accountant specialized in banking and taxation to support our growing logistics operations across Pakistan. The role is fully remote, offering a five‑day work week and the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor banking transactions.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with applicable laws.
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and statutory obligations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and tax consultants as needed.
• Assist with budgeting, cash‑flow management, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, banking, and taxation.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
