About the role
We are seeking a remote Accountant with strong US GAAP experience to support a leading software development firm on a contract basis. The position involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and assisting with month‑end close processes.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain up‑to‑date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.
Required profile
- Proven experience with US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Hands‑on experience in month‑end close and reconciliation tasks.
- Knowledge of US tax compliance for corporate entities.
- Detail‑oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines.
