About the role

We are looking for a remote Accountant with solid experience in US GAAP to support a global software development leader. The position is contract‑based and offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while handling month‑end close and compliance tasks.

Key responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

Proven experience with US GAAP and financial reporting.
Hands‑on experience with month‑end close and reconciliation processes.
Strong understanding of US tax compliance for corporate entities.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
