Remote Accountant (US GAAP)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accountant with strong US GAAP experience to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location while supporting the financial integrity of high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proven proficiency with US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end close and reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of US tax compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
