Remote Backend Developer (C#/.NET)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong C#/.NET expertise to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility while you design and maintain high‑performance backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy robust backend APIs and services using C# and the .NET framework.
• Design scalable architecture solutions that meet performance and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best‑practice coding standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in C# and .NET development.
• Hands‑on background creating and integrating backend APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, preferably SQL Server.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS (preferred).
• Strong analytical and debugging abilities.
