Remote Backend Software Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Software Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. This fully remote position allows you to design and implement scalable backend solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using best coding and architectural practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with relevant software development frameworks and libraries.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to write optimized, scalable code.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across time zones.
