Remote Call Center Agent

About the role

This is a fully remote call center agent position where you handle customer calls and follow-ups about orders and service issues. Tasks come from a call queue and planned follow-up lists, and a team lead reviews difficult questions and coaches your replies. You work from home using shared tools to manage calls and notes, with a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Explain service steps and order updates in plain words, using approved guidance, and check that customers understand.
• Open follow-up lists and the incoming queue in a CRM such as HubSpot, and plan which calls need attention first.
• Receive and make calls through a business phone system such as Aircall, introducing yourself and explaining your purpose.
• Listen to the full concern, ask short questions when details are missing, repeat key points and guide customers through simple fixes.
• Stay polite when customers are upset or hurried, and record the question, answer and next step after each call.
• Send questions beyond your guidance to the team lead with a brief summary, and call customers waiting for answers.
• Share daily call counts and common questions with the team, and use feedback to improve your calls.

Required profile

• Professional spoken and written English, as calls are generally with customers in the United States.
• No experience is required; related phone support or customer-facing experience is preferred.
• A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection and reliable electricity.
• Willingness to learn service information, follow approved call outlines and ask for guidance when an answer is unclear.
• Patient listening, clear speech and care when checking customer details and updating call results.
