Remote Cloud Architect – AWS Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to join a cutting‑edge AI training platform on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure that powers next‑generation AI models, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate operational tasks with Bash and Python scripts.
• Monitor system health and performance via CloudWatch and resolve incidents.
• Enforce security best practices and compliance across all deployments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience building production‑grade AWS environments.
• Strong ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Monitoring with AWS CloudWatch.
• Understanding of network fundamentals and cloud security.
