Remote Data Scientist – Python

About the role

We are hiring for a client to work full‑time as a Data Scientist focused on Python development of AI models. The position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with researchers and annotators on reinforcement learning with human feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python code to train and optimise AI models.
• Conduct evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyse results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Develop comprehensive explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong reasoning and technical expertise.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of high‑quality, task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Experience with data science and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases using business sense and analytical abilities.
• Strong bug‑fixing skills and ability to produce thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate reasoning and logic in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
