Remote DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery while ensuring reliability and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to apply DevOps best practices.
• Support cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on scalability and cost optimization.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Solid scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
