Remote DevOps Engineer – Contract (CI/CD, Cloud, Terraform)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global IT services leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure across major cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Git version control and branching strategies.
