Remote DevOps Engineer – Contract (CI/CD, Cloud, Terraform)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure for a global IT services leader. The role focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and scalable deployment solutions across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployments.
• Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands‑on expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Solid understanding of version control (Git) and branching strategies.
