Remote Electrical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a contract Electrical Engineer to design, develop and validate electrical systems for high‑impact projects across multiple industries. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global engineering services leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate electrical circuits, power and control systems using industry‑standard tools.
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts and wiring diagrams in line with project requirements and safety regulations.
• Conduct failure mode analysis, root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions for electrical subsystems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and systems engineers to integrate electrical components into complete product solutions.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant certifications and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience designing and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits, power distribution and embedded systems.
• Experience working in Agile or structured engineering environments with version‑control systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium or KiCad for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience with simulation tools like SPICE, MATLAB or Simulink.
• Familiarity with IEC, UL and IPC standards for electrical safety and manufacturing.
• Version control using Git.
