Remote Go Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Go Developer to join a leading software development firm on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance microservices and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Go.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Go (Golang) development experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
