Remote Go Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Go Developer to join a leading software development firm on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high-performance microservices and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services using Go to enhance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural and security standards.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Go (Golang) development experience.
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong grasp of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker).
