Remote Golang Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Golang Developer to join a global leader in software development on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance backend services in a micro‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services using Go (Golang) for distributed systems.
• Optimize existing services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define technical requirements.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience building micro‑services and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimization.
