About the role

We are seeking a Remote Legal Expert to guide a leading technology client on legal matters affecting micro‑tasking and freelance platforms. The role focuses on ensuring platform policies comply with local and international regulations while supporting dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
• Assess intellectual property concerns and mitigate related disputes.
• Provide legal support for user disputes and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor evolving laws affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts for non‑legal stakeholders.
