Remote Supply Chain Manager – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a remote Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end operations for a high‑volume e‑commerce platform. The contractor will coordinate logistics, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless order fulfillment across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise procurement, production, and distribution.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor performance and mitigate risks.
• Oversee inventory levels across multiple warehouses to avoid stockouts or excess holding costs.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to streamline shipping, customs clearance, and last‑mile delivery.
• Analyse supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost‑reduction improvements.

Required profile

• Experience managing supply chain operations in e‑commerce or retail environments.
• Proficiency with supply chain software such as SAP, Oracle, or JDA.
• Knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding and customs compliance.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
