Remote Tax Accountant (Chartered Accountant)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant or Enrolled Agent to join a leading financial services firm on a remote contract basis. The professional will support clients across multiple jurisdictions by handling tax compliance, preparing financial statements, and delivering advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, state and international tax returns accurately and on time.
• Provide tax planning and advisory recommendations to optimise clients’ financial positions.
• Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations.
• Represent clients during audits and communicate with tax authorities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
• Minimum three years of experience in tax compliance, accounting or financial advisory.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax preparation software such as ProSeries.
• Experience using Drake or comparable tax platforms.
