Remote Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced US tax professional (EA or CPA) to join a leading finance organization on a contract basis. The work is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere while helping train next‑generation AI systems with high‑quality tax expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language, conditions, thresholds, and legal exceptions.
• Review English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation using logical reasoning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of U.S. tax law, including statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear, concise written communication skills.
• Logical reasoning and critical‑thinking capabilities.
