Resident Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

Al Rehman Developers is looking for a Resident Engineer to lead on‑site construction activities at its development sites. The role ensures projects are delivered to specification, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on‑site construction work, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accurate implementation.
• Monitor project progress, control budgets, and report status, quality, and safety compliance.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, providing guidance to the construction team.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Manage resources—including labor, materials, and equipment—to maximize efficiency.
• Liaise with local authorities to secure permits and approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in the construction industry.
• Proven ability to interpret complex technical documents and drawings.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
