Retail Operations Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day store activities on a remote, contract basis. The role focuses on driving efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction across multiple retail locations while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise store workflows, including inventory, staffing and customer‑service processes.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as sales, foot traffic and inventory turnover.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with regional managers to align store operations with broader business strategies.
• Train and mentor store staff on best practices and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail operations management or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and operational metrics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and supply‑chain coordination (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with retail management software.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
