Robotics Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Robotics Engineer to join a global leader in information services. This full‑time, remote position focuses on designing, developing, and deploying scalable autonomous robotic systems with real‑time control capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement control algorithms, including kinematics, dynamics, and path planning.
• Develop software for perception, localization, and mapping using sensor‑fusion techniques.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate sensors, actuators, and embedded systems into functional prototypes.
• Optimize robot performance for efficiency, reliability, and safety in dynamic environments.
• Document technical specifications, test results, and deployment procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proficiency with robotics frameworks such as ROS or ROS 2.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience with real‑time control systems, embedded software, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Knowledge of computer vision, SLAM, and sensor‑fusion techniques.
• Familiarity with simulation tools (Gazebo, CoppeliaSim, NVIDIA Isaac Sim) and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UDP).
