About the role

This remote position focuses on shaping how embodied robotics data is collected, structured, and utilized to advance AI training and perception systems. You will work with top‑tier research teams to design data formats, collection methods, and evaluation frameworks that power the next generation of robotic learning across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Define and standardize robotics data formats, schemas, and benchmarks for consistent data representation.
• Design and implement innovative data collection methods, including human demonstrations, teleoperation, and multi‑sensor integration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align robotics data pipelines with model training requirements.
• Evaluate datasets for diversity, scalability, and impact to ensure high‑quality contributions to AI systems.
• Prototype experiments and tools for efficient data gathering, leveraging best practices from leading robotics labs.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of experience in robotics R&D, data engineering, or applied research focusing on data pipelines and multimodal schemas.
• Degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, AI research, and data science teams.
