Room Attendant

About the role

The Royal Inn Hotel is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join its housekeeping team in Karachi. This full-time, on-site position ensures guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards, contributing to a comfortable and pleasant stay for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Handle laundry operations: collect, wash, dry, fold, and store linens and towels.
• Inspect rooms and equipment for cleanliness and proper functioning, reporting any maintenance issues.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and hotel procedures throughout all tasks.
• Interact professionally with guests, respond to requests, and support the housekeeping team.

Required profile

• Strong housekeeping experience with the ability to clean rooms efficiently.
• Experience in laundry handling and organization.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, good time-management, and ability to follow procedures.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend and lift moderate weights during shifts.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to understand written instructions and complete checklists.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
