Safety & Environmental Specialist – Junior Level

About the role

The Safety & Environmental Specialist will support the factory’s management team in delivering Nestlé’s zero‑accident vision. Working on‑site in Sheikhupura, the role focuses on waste‑water treatment, scrap yard management and overall compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of the factory’s S&E strategy, aligning objectives with market and corporate goals.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé policies (NCE, TPM, LEAN, NEMS, NSMS) and local safety and environmental legislation.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications by developing tools, initiatives and TPM S&E pillar leadership.
• Coach plant managers, contractors and visitors on S&E practices and manage performance data.
• Lead risk‑assessment activities, develop contingency plans and oversee incident investigations.
• Submit monthly S&E KPIs, surveys and reports to the S&E PM and market officers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in safety and environmental roles within an industrial setting.
• NEBOSH certification.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with corporate and regulatory teams.
