Safety Officer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Safety Officer to join Imran Khan & Brothers in Karachi. The role is on‑site and focuses on implementing and monitoring health, safety and security procedures across all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Lead incident and accident investigations, including root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain safety documentation and prepare management reports.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and awareness sessions.
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Collaborate with supervisors and workers to promote a strong safety culture.
• Review safety performance and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health.
• Proficiency in accident investigation and corrective‑action planning.
• Knowledge of security practices for safe access control and asset protection.
• Experience delivering safety training to diverse teams.
• Relevant certification or diploma in occupational health and safety or a related field.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify hazards, assess risks and recommend practical controls.
• Familiarity with Pakistan labour, health and safety regulations; experience in construction, manufacturing or industrial settings is a plus.
