Sales Application Engineer

About the role

AY Capital, an industrial solutions provider offering a wide range of products for industrial needs, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Application Engineer for its Karachi division. The engineer works closely with customers to understand their technical and commercial requirements, proposes suitable product and system solutions, and prepares quotations and technical presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal engineering and sales teams
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support
• Assist in project planning and execution
• Respond to customer inquiries and conduct site visits when needed
• Support product demonstrations
• Maintain accurate records in the sales pipeline and CRM tools
• Monitor market trends, contribute to sales strategies, and help improve technical documentation and product applications

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related field) or equivalent practical experience
• Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering for reading technical drawings, specifications and system requirements
• Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to industrial equipment
• Experience providing technical support, including troubleshooting, product configuration and after-sales assistance
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively on-site in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Strong sales engineering and sales skills, including solution selling, opportunity qualification and customer relationship management
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM tools
• Familiarity with industrial standards and safety practices is an advantage
