Sales Assistant

About the role

Telecom Engineering Company (TEC) in Karachi is looking for a proactive Sales Assistant to support its business development and customer relationship activities within the ELV and security solutions market.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals and technical documentation for ELV and security projects.
• Maintain CRM records, track leads, update opportunity statuses and coordinate follow‑up actions.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, gather project requirements and schedule site visits with technical staff.
• Coordinate with procurement and engineering to confirm product availability, lead times and pricing for accurate proposals.
• Prepare and manage sales documents, contracts and tender submissions.
• Support site‑visit coordination and arrange meetings between clients and technical teams.
• Provide timely updates and handoffs to help close sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu.
• Familiarity with ELV and security product types such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA systems and structured cabling.
• Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools to manage leads and opportunities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing proposals and reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
• Basic commercial understanding of pricing, delivery timelines and procurement coordination.
