Sales Development Representative – Outbound Prospecting

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to own the top of the sales funnel for its consumer brands. You will focus on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up discovery meetings for the account management team.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build targeted lists of wholesale and B2B partners across defined markets.
• Execute outbound outreach via phone, email, and other channels to generate interest.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads against target criteria before handoff.
• Book discovery meetings for the account management team.
• Follow structured call flows and discovery guides, contributing to their continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of prospect and outreach activity in the CRM.
• Support trade show and event lead generation, and follow‑up activities.
• Report regularly on outreach activity and pipeline progress.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in sales development, outbound sales, or a similar prospecting role; retail or consumer goods experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with cold outreach.
• Resilient, self‑motivated, and able to handle rejection while maintaining activity volume.
• Organized with good follow‑through on lead tracking and reporting.
• Team player eager to grow within a fast‑moving company.
