Sales Executive - Digital Marketing Agency

About the role

Checkmate, a digital marketing agency founded in 2009 that works with brands across Pakistan and the UAE, is hiring 1-2 Sales / Business Development Executives in Lahore. The role is about finding potential clients, turning conversations into business and closing deals, with base salary plus sales commission.

Key responsibilities

• Find potential clients through LinkedIn, networking, emails, calls, events and direct outreach.
• Reach out to founders, marketing managers, CEOs and other decision-makers and start conversations.
• Identify opportunities across branding, digital marketing, campaigns, events, activations, websites and AI.
• Work with the creative and strategy teams to build client-facing pitches, then pitch, negotiate, follow up and close deals.
• Keep the sales pipeline organised and build long-term client relationships.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in an agency, digital, events, software or technology business; agency experience is a plus.
• Comfortable speaking to business owners and decision-makers, and able to handle rejection.
• Good listener who understands that selling starts with understanding the client's problem.
• Based in Lahore and available for client meetings.
• Fresh graduates are also welcome as Sales & Accounts Interns, who can be confirmed as full-time Sales Executives based on performance.
