Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding

About the role

ShipX Global Logistics is seeking a motivated Sales Executive focused on freight forwarding services. The role involves generating leads, preparing competitive quotations, and building client relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new sales leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking in the freight forwarding industry.
• Understand client requirements and provide accurate, competitive quotations for freight forwarding services.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients to ensure consistent sales growth.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with customers to promote repeat business.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of services.
• Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client communications in the company CRM system.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
• Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and market conditions.
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and quotations that clearly communicate the benefits of ShipX’s offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or related logistics services.
• Proven ability to generate leads, prepare quotations, and close sales.
