Sales Manager - Custom Clearance (Freight Forwarding)

About the role

Raaziq Group (RIL Logistics), a leading provider of customs clearance services for importers and exporters across Pakistan, is looking for a Sales Manager - Custom Clearance based in Karachi. The role focuses on expanding the import custom clearance business in the South region. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of imports and exports, a strong sales background and a proven track record of leading a sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans using market analysis to reach revenue targets and grow market share in import custom clearance.
• Identify and acquire new clients across sectors such as automotive, textile and FMCG.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets (volume and revenue) for Karachi and surrounding areas.
• Build and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, and drive customer retention.
• Work with the operations team to deliver custom clearance services and resolve client issues.
• Analyse competitors and market trends to position services for consistent growth.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations and contracts.
• Lead the sales team, set individual targets, train, mentor and evaluate team members.
• Stay up to date on industry regulations, Customs Law and best practices in customs clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 8-10 years or more of sales experience, preferably in custom clearance and import sales.
• Own vehicle or conveyance for client visits and work-related travel.

Required skills

• MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM software.
• Strong negotiation skills and leadership of a sales team.
