Sales Manager – HoReCa

About the role

The Sales Manager – HoReCa is responsible for developing and executing a growth plan for the local hospitality market. You will lead a sales team, build strong customer relationships, and ensure sales and profit targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business plan to capture local HoReCa market opportunities.
• Monitor weekly, monthly and quarterly sales results (turnover, profitability, margin, frequency, average ticket) and take corrective actions.
• Collect and communicate customer demands, needs and expectations, proposing short‑term solutions together with Store and District Sales Managers.
• Survey the market and competitors to adapt Metro’s strategy and recommend action plans.
• Attend regular meetings with Regional Field Operations Manager, Area Manager and Customer Experience Managers.
• Participate in customer portfolio selection and activation of new buying customers.
• Handle customer complaints, understand expectations and propose solutions.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to deepen relationships.
• Review and approve operational activities of team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the HoReCa sector.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and drive performance.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with store, district and regional managers.
